Privacy
This page explains what personal data badii.studio collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: no cookies, no tracking across sites, and I only see what you send me.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Badii Boutar, trading as badii.studio, 015, Zone Stade IM JARDI, 5000 Monastir, Tunisia. Contact for anything privacy related: badii@badii.studio.
What I collect, why, and for how long
- Visiting the site. Umami Cloud counts page views and clicks on the main buttons. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not keep your IP address in analytics records. I only see totals. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
- Hosting. Netlify serves the site and processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website. Netlify keeps these logs for a short period under its own policy.
- Free teardown form. Your name, email, app URL, message and how you found me, stored by Netlify Forms and sent to my inbox. I use them to reply and to record your teardown. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract. I delete them 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Email and calls. What you write to me, and the details you enter when booking a call through Calendly. Used to reply and to run our work together. Legal basis: steps before a contract, and the contract itself. Kept for as long as we work together and up to 2 years after.
- Testimonial and case study permission. If you fill in the form after paying, your email, the name you want shown, your order reference and what you allow me to publish, stored by Netlify Forms. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by email, and I then remove anything published with it.
- Payments and invoices. Name, business name, email and payment details, handled by Pan African Center for Entrepreneurship via Stripe. I never see your full card details. Legal basis: the contract and my legal obligation to keep accounting records. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.
When I audit or fix your app, I may see personal data inside it, such as your users' records. I handle that data only on your instructions and only for the work you ordered, as set out in the data processing section of the terms. For that data you are the controller and I am the processor.
Who else handles your data
- Netlify, Inc. (USA): hosting and forms.
- Umami Software, Inc.: privacy-friendly analytics.
- ImprovMX and my email provider: delivering email sent to badii@badii.studio.
- Calendly LLC (USA): booking calls.
- Pan African Center for Entrepreneurship (Korte Bogaardstraat 8, 2011 WT Haarlem, Netherlands) and Stripe: payments. They process payment data under their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as offered by each provider.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- show you the data I have about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- limit how I use it, or stop using it where I rely on legitimate interest;
- send it to you in a common, machine-readable format.
Email badii@badii.studio. I reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Other things to know
- I don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- I don't make automated decisions about you.
- The site is not meant for children.
- If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
